I’ve got a tasty recipe for you! This recipe was kind of an accident… I was making brownies and accidentally used special dark chocolate cocoa powder! I didn’t even know dark chocolate cocoa powder was a thing! It was a happy accident because it is delicious!
Ingredients:
1/2 C Unsalted butter melted
1Tbs Cooking Oil
1 1/8C sugar (half granulated, half light brown sugar)
2 eggs
2-3 drops peppermint essential oil
1/2C all-purpose flour
1/2C Special dark cocoa powder
1/4tsp salt
Ready to make some amazing brownies?
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. A step I usually forget to do first!
2. Lightly grease 8″ Versa Skillet from Xtrema Pure Ceramic Cookware. Set aside
3. Melt butter and mix together with oil, sugar and Peppermint Oil.
4. Add eggs to the butter/sugar/oil mixture.
5. Sift in flour, cocoa powder and salt mixture, mix until smooth. This is also where I check to see if I’ve added enough peppermint oil, I usually end up adding a couple more drops. It’s really up to your taste!
6. Pour in to 8″ Versa Skillet then bake for 20-25 minutes. I find that about 22 minutes works best for perfectly gooey/fudgy brownies!
ENJOY!
